Cox and Forkum

Takeathousand

We got the opportunity to spend some time with John and Allen at BlogNashville. What a fun and interesting group of guys.

And I learned a lesson, one that typically you need to be a politician or athlete to learn. Do not get into a fight with a cartoonist. They can immortalized you much faster with one image than 1.000 scribes with 100,000 words.

Fortunately, I can now feel comfortable calling them friends.

Agreed… What an amazing opportunity it was to speak to and get to know John & Allen. A great set of guys.

I will agree with Tom regarding “Don’t Piss the cartoonist off”. The pen maybe mightier than the sword, but the cartoon is more biting and remembered than the spoken word.

Cox and Forkum – a breed apart and after actually getting to know them it is no wonder why I have loved their work.

Thank you for the compliments, guys. It was a pleasure meeting and speaking with you both. I’m looking forward to reading Scared Monkeys in the future. You’re doing an excellent job.
