Timothy Havens Says Wife Carolyn Havens Shot as Gun Went Off Accidentally During Sex

First NY Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress has a gun go off accidently at a NYC nightclub and now Timothy Havens claims a similar event occurred. Similar, but a much more different set of circumstances. 38 year old Timothy Havens told police that he accidently shot his wife while having sex. By the way, Carolyn Havens is in critical condition with a gun shot to her chest. Imagine that? Who is going to believe this story told to police?

A Tri-State woman is in critical condition Wednesday after police say her husband shot her while they were having sex.

Timothy Havens, 38, told Springfield police he was reaching for something on the nightstand when the pistol went off, hitting his estranged wife Carolyn in the upper chest. (Hear part of the 911 call)

Carolyn Havens, 42, is being treated at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

Obamamessiah Day an Annual Holiday in Small Central Alabama County … Misguided Recognition

File this one under … please tell me how people sitting around not working, not showing initiative and being idle shows anyone a way to give people faith that difficult goals can be achieved. Recognition is one thing; however, this is completely misguided.

The Perry County Commission in Alabama voted 4 to 1 to observe the second Monday in November as “The Barack Obama Day.”    You mean it is not already a National holiday? What, they have not started printing money with Obama’s face on all forms of US currency? Honestly, how ignorant can some people be in their zest to praise The One, the Obamamessiah. Lost by the commission is fact that Obama Day will cost to the county much, which has a $2.2 million annual payroll and is one of the poorest in the state. In these tough economic times, this is how a state municipality wisely uses their money?  Maybe they will get in line for a Federal bail out, after all it’s an important cause.

A small central Alabama county whose mainly black residents gave Barack Obama more than 70 percent of the vote on Election Day has created an annual holiday in honor of the president-elect.
The Perry County Commission voted 4 to 1 to observe the second Monday in November as “The Barack Obama Day.” County offices will close and its roughly 40 workers will get a paid holiday.

The sponsoring commissioner, Albert Turner Jr., said the holiday is meant to highlight the Democratic president-elect’s victory as a way to give people faith that difficult goals can be achieved.

The majority of the county’s 12,000 residents are black.

The county commission’s three black members and one of its two white members voted for the resolution.

Or wait, is there space already being reserved at Mount Rushmore for Obama’s face to be carved in stone even though he has actually yet to accomplish anything other than being elected President.

Monkey Waiters in Japan … Hey, Hey We Are the Monkeys … Ain’t No Messing Around

Monkey waiters in Japan … At the Kayabukiya tavern just north of Tokyo, Yatchan and Fukuchan serve customers hot towels and drinks, and are given soya beans as tips. Watching Yatchan and Fukuchan scurrying around the restaurant getting items for the customers is more ambition that I have seen by many human wait staff recently.

The Serve No Evil Monkey

At the Kayabukiya tavern just north of Tokyo, a pair of monkeys in jackets and shorts scamper over to the mini-oven, open the door and dish out hot towels to the patrons.

The younger of the two, Fuku-chan is quick to give the diners a hot towel to help them clean their hands before they order their drinks, as is the custom in Japan.
Yat-chan and Fuku-chan, who are both certified by the local authorities to work in the tavern are well appreciate by customers, who tip them with soya beans.
‘The monkeys are actually better waiters than some really bad human ones,’ customer Takayoshi Soeno said.

 

Tavern owner Kaoru Otsuka, 63, originally kept the monkeys as household pets - but when the older one started aping him he realised they were capable of working in the restaurant.

It is reported that the Mumbai terrorist took cocaine and LSD before carrying out attacks. What’s a little sodium pentothal to help the killer to tell the truth? 

Indian police interrogators are preparing to administer a “truth serum” on the sole Islamic militant captured during last week’s terror attacks on Mumbai to settle once and for all the question of where he is from.

The mystery of the man dubbed “the baby-faced gunman” has weighed heavily on India’s relations with Pakistan as the nuclear-armed neighbours dispute each other’s accounts of his origin.

Police interrogators in Mumbai told The Times that they have “verified” that Azam Amir Kasab, who was captured after a shoot-out in a Mumbai railway station on Wednesday night, is from Faridkot, a small village in Pakistan’s impoverished south Punjab region. They say that the nine dead gunmen are also Pakistani.

Reason for the Season??? Furious Parents Attack Santa and his Elves at Lapland New Forest … ‘Winter Blunderland’

File this one under, what the hell is wrong with people? This time the lack of Christmas festive cheer occurs in England. It appears that Santa and his elves are not immune to disgruntled “Holiday” cheer in England as a soccer game brawl breaks out at Lapland New Forest. Folks, ya have a right to be angry, you have a right to demand your money back. You have a right to voice your displeasure at what appears to be “Crapland, instead of Lapland” … you do not have a right to assault Santa and his Elves … GEEZ!!! That is correct, disgruntled parents attacked Santa and his elves. Could people possible show some restraint? Just a reminder to the parents that took their children to Lapland New Forest, that is not the reason for the season and neither are your actions and responses to this theme park.

Now the elves have started brawling with the customers.

And Santa himself is nursing a punched nose after a disappointed visitor got tired of queuing in the mud to see him.

Three elves - one a 17-year-old girl - are said to have been involved in violent confrontations.

Santa was punched by a furious father who had been waiting in line for four hours,’ he said. ‘He had got to the front only to be told he couldn’t take a picture of his children and that they weren’t allowed to sit on Santa’s lap.

‘The family were then told they would have to get in another queue to get their presents. That was the final straw.

Natalee Holloway, Missing in Aruba: Does the Dean of Joran Van der Sloot Know More than he has Admitted?

Recently in an interview with Greta Van Susteren, Joran Van der Sloot stated that he confided in a teacher at his school at what he did with Natalee Holloway and her disappearance. Joran Van der Sloot; however, did not provide a name. However, in making reference to a teacher at his school who he was close to, Joran did implicate another individual in obstruction and the cover up of a crime.

Many times when a sociopath tells a story there are bits and pieces of the truth mixed up with the multitude of lies. Was the part that Joran confided in a teacher at his school the truth?

VAN DER SLOOT: No, the first person I told was a teacher of mine, and then the lawyer.

VAN SUSTEREN: The teacher is?

VAN DER SLOOT: The teacher — it was a teacher from school.

VAN SUSTEREN: What’s his name?

VAN DER SLOOT: Yes. It was a teacher from school, that I had as a teacher.

VAN SUSTEREN: What did he tell you to do?

VAN DER SLOOT: To tell the truth.

VAN SUSTEREN: And what was his name?

VAN DER SLOOT: I can’t think of it right now.

VAN SUSTEREN: You know what, you do know it.

VAN DER SLOOT: I can’t think of it right now.

VAN SUSTEREN: Is it the teacher who was there when you and I did the interview back in March of `06?

VAN DER SLOOT: Yes.

VAN SUSTEREN: When did you tell him in relation to Natalee’s disappearance?

VAN DER SLOOT: I told him a couple of days after, at school, I think.

VAN SUSTEREN: Did you have a special relationship with this teacher?

VAN DER SLOOT: I had a very good relationship with him, yes.

Flash forward to December 1, 2008 to a Greta Van Susteren interview with Holloway family friends who investigate Van der Sloot’s Headmaster. Could the headmaster be the teacher that Joran was referring to in the interview?

Saxby Chambliss Wins US Senate Runoff in GA Going Away … Dems, No 60 Seats for You!

Georgia On My Mind: Georgia decides there will be checks and balances on an Obama Administration. How come the MSM is not referencing this Senate election defeat for Dems in Georgia as the first chink in the armor of The Chosen One?

Was the election of Barack Obama more about a perfect storm of overly favorable media coverage, bad economic situation and a specific candidate than it was about the American voter shifting to the Democrats? With no Obama on the ticket and much on the line for Democrats in the US Senate, Dems fall flat in Georgia.

Incumbent Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss wins the US Senate runoff race in Georgia by an overwhelming majority or Democratic state Representative Jim Martin, 57% to 43%. The Chambliss win denies the Democratic party the potential of 60 Senate seats and a filibuster-proof majority.  Real Clear Politics blogged the Georgia Senate runoff.

What is most remarkable is the percentage difference that occurred in the runoff election vs. the general election between Chambliss and Martin. Martin finished 3% points behind in the general election; however, was trounced in the Georgia runoff when there was no Barack Obama for people to come to the polls and vote for.

Change You Can Beleive In … Obama Continues Boycott of Fox News … Can’t We All Just Get Along?

Finally we have seen a change in President-elect Obama that has been different that GWB. It Appear that Obama is continuing his boycott of Fox News and not calling on them for questions.  It appears according to Mediabistro that Fox News is 0–5 in Obama Press Conferences. Fox News shut out again at Obama’s fifth Press Conference; however, questions instead went to such outlets as ABC, New York Times, CBS, Reuters and the Associated Press.

Is it as the Gateway Pundit states, is The One afraid that he might get a tough question of substance from Fox? It is a frightening though when one, in this case The One, completely dismisses what he perceives as the opposition media and their questions. If this was the case for any Republican president the White House Press Conference would have been an awfully quiet event. Why won’t Barack call on Fox News, it is not like he did not go on The Factor with Bill O’Reilly?

Upon naming Hillary Clinton Secretary of State, check out the video below of Obama attempting to answer what he deems a tough question from the liberal media. Barack Obama was asked about dissing Hillary’s foreign policy credentials during the primary. The One’s response … dismissive.
