Chalk this one up for the good guys against the global internet world of abuse and 
exploitation of children. British police with the help of US, Canadian and Australian authorities have smashed a global internet pedophile ring that operated in such a heinous way that it makes it almost impossible to describe. 31 children were rescued in this operation by authorities and saved from what can only be described as a sheer hell.
Some 200 suspects are based in Britain, said the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center, a government agency. Of the 31 children, some only a few months old, more than 15 were in Britain, the center said. British authorities would not give a breakdown of where the other suspects or children came from, but said more than half the suspects in Britain were already being prosecuted.
The ring was traced to an Internet chat room called “Kids the Light of Our Lives” that featured images of children being subjected to horrific sexual abuse, including the streaming live videos. (Breitbart)
According to reports the images and videos that were seized were beyond abusive. It is about time that we go after those that would hurt, exploit and abuse the most innocent and helpless among us.
“Today’s verdict serves as a powerful warning to those using the Internet to facilitate the sexual exploitation of children,” said Jim Gamble, the child protection center’s chief executive.
The host of the chat room, Timothy David Martyn Cox, 27, of Buxhall, who used the online identity “Son of God,” admitted to nine counts of possessing and distributing indecent images, authorities said.
Police Smash UK-Based Paedophile Ring
Around 700 suspects – 200 from the UK – were identified in 35 countries during the operation. Some are still being pursued.
Offenders used a web chatroom called Kids The Light Of Our Lives to swap photos and videos of horrific abuse.
It was led by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre.
Its CEO, Jim Gamble, said: “As predators become increasing sophisticated in their use of the Internet for exploiting young people, so too do the techniques we use to detect them.” (Sky News)
An Australian child was one of the 31 children rescued from this international porn ring. Is it possible that 4 year old missing Madeleine McCann could have been a apart of this as well?
AN Australian child has been rescued from a global internet pedophile ring, after police conducted an online child abuse sting that spanned 35 countries.
30 other children around the world, ranging from babies to early teens, have been removed from harm in the biggest ever online child abuse sting that was centred in Britain but spanned 35 countries over the past 10 months.
Internet pedophilia ring shattered; 31 children rescued
Police analyzed images and videos traded by the chat room’s members for clues that could help them identify, locate and rescue the victims.
More than 15 of the children were found in Britain, Gamble said, declining to give further details. An official in Canada said authorities there arrested 24 Canadians and rescued seven children as part of the investigation. Four people have been arrested in Australia, including one who was previously convicted of child pornography charges, officials said today.
It was unclear whether any of the rescued children had been reported missing. (LA Times)

It’s a well and good that they busted they perverts. But unless they sentence them to 20 years or more in jail what does it matter? Most will do very little jail time. And be right back at it. As the person from Australia who was already convicted once on child pornagraphy charges.
What causes this? I mean the desire to harm or exploit a child. Is it a biological defect or does society create these monsters?
Does anyone know if any of these children had been kidnapped? Thank God they were able to rescue them. How many more are still out there?
Dear Lilpuma,,,the answer is clear and simple. They are evil and lean towards it because they PREFER it to good. The more evil a person, the more they hate anything innocent…and they get a disgusting sense of “a good feeling” when they are able to destroy it.
Sadly, upbringing and the lack of true love/caring is a big part in the problem. Broken kids from broken homes growing up and doing to others what was done to them (basically).
Alot of anger in society today. I say death penalty for child rapist. No other solution I can see.
Believe it or not, I read that Iran is actually now including child rape as a crime punished by death. GOOD! One thing Iran is doing right!!!

#1- Here in Illinois, I know of an ex-coworker that reportedly got 6 years for having this crap on his computer. I for one will be interested in seeing how their sentences compare. And as the WHOLE world is watching, I feel that they WILL be made an example of.
Oh my gosh!! HERE IS A GREAT STORY! If only more parents would bring up their kids to think with a clear head as in this story. I feel the kid may have saved both himself and his mother. What a fantastic young man….

I too wonder if the children were abused family members or neighbors, taken from an orphanage, or outright kidnapped.
A worldwide ring of scum, dedicated to this horror and probably swapping comments on these abused children.
Turn them over to the parents or family of the children ….
After reading this news, is anyone more willing to at least consider that Natalee Holloway may have been sold or handed over to a similar group of scum? We know that trafficking exists, and is a multi-billion-dollar enterprise in South America (so say local organizations, anyway) ….
Two years gone by, and no body, no crime scene, nothing found on Aruba. It could be that the reason is … is that she was taken off Aruba. Don’t dismiss it out of hand.

I know what you’re saying. I’m afraid NH is too high, profile and would have been too much of a threat to keep around. Same with the young child in the UK who was snatched from between her sleeping siblings almost 2 months ago. She is so high profile I cannot see the criminals willing to take a chance on “using” her for their purposes.
Would be the best thing in the world to find these 2 girls. I normally post to remember Elizabeth Smart. One really never does know for certain until they have either the person returned, or the body found (although sometimes there is enough DNA evidence to prove murder without it).

I hope these children find their families and their homes. I hope every pervert involved gets what they deserve.
Since those in Aruba will not tell the truth or are incapable of determining the real truth, that is a possiblilty that cannot be completely discounted. How likely would it be that Natalee’s fate has anything o do with a sex ring?…who knows??
#5 Nurturer. I was told by someone who works with authorities to catch these crazies that if you get spammed with any kind of child porn you should delete it. It’s illegal to have this stuff on your computer so don’t do anything but hit delete.
This case certainly does bring to mind Madeleine McCann and fears of her having been taken by people like this. I hope authorities can save more of them as they did in this case.

The man discusses his obsession, why he thinks it began, and about the fact he attempted suicide twice because he knew his obsessions of child porn was getting worse viewing images no long satisified his desires. Was afraid he’d actually commit the act against a child and decided he’s rather die. Sick…yet honest and insightful story. Too bad he’s in the .0001% group of pedophiles…one that admits it is wrong and even discusses that sentencing should be much harsher, and paroles not less than 10 years to life after release. Truly an insightful piece….

What really needs to be done with people who sexually abuse any child, “is to have that person exterminated.”
Of course do that only if they ‘re found to be guilty beyond any reasonable doubt.
The death penalty will place high value on human innocents and life, which is fading fast and even at government levels such as abortion being made legal and excepted. It’s veryu disgusting to any moral humanbeing, abortion is murder and a disgrace to any government who allows it. What needs to be in place is an adoption strategy for all unwanted child births and government support. It’s becoming a world of no respect and order for the natural order of things.
