Rosie O’Donnell and The View … Going, Going Gone

Yes Virginia … there is a Santa Claus. Rosie O’Donnell will not be returning to The Rosie o'donnellView. Forgive us while we shed a collective tear, NOT! The ridiculousness and obnoxious and hateful tirades that O’Donnell reaches an all time low this past week when O’Donnell had at it with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

In a statement today, Brian Frons, the president of Disney-ABC’s Daytime Television Group, said, “We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to ‘The View’ and wish her well.” (ABC)

And here is the final straw as to why a loud mouth, opportunist is no longer on “The View”

Its rather amusing to see it thrown back in Rosie’s face and her unable to handle it.

Rosie cant stand anyone that she can’t bully into submission! I wish she would just go away.

Isnt it funny who the ‘coward’ is? Rosie finally has someone stand up against her and she cant even take it. She quits!

Yay! Rosie’s gone sooner! Not that I watch The View. I don’t, but the news reporting on her hateful rudenesses causes me to have to hear it just the same. Rosie is not funny. She’s a bitter ole bag is all.

You got the “loud mouth, opportunist” part right when speaking of Rosie. She’s a bully. Buh-bye Rosie!

I don’t watch The View anymore because of Rosie. She’s a big mouth bully, and all it took was Elizabeth to stand up to her, and Rosie ran-typical for a bully. I really don’t care about celebrities private lives. Most of Hollywood is disgusting and for lack of a better word just crazy. That’s my 2 cents worth.

The Mouth has left The Spew in a huff, reportedly trashing her dressing room on the way out while her head writer ran around drawing on pictures of Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

Crazy people who are offering the thing a contract. I can’t believe the news is spending so much time on this. It deserves one chorus of “Ding dong, the wicked witch is dead” and move on.

what about Joy Behar’s part in this? She’s the one that got the ball rolling and then stepped back and enjoyed the action.

I think she was told to leave. It was that simple.

I was skeptical when Rosie joined the View, however, I did enjoy her right to the END. I am very disappointed in Elizabeth, who didn’t want to “just answer” but keep the fight going.!!! What a spoilt brat she turned out to be. Joy, you are a pleasure to watch! Maybe not so much shouting on the set, and more chit chat. Hot topics are great!

That women is nothing more than a over flowing sack of poop.
And a true shame to HER society.

Rosie needs to see Doc McGraw..

I can’t think of a single movie or tv program where I felt like Rosie O’Donnell contributed anything. It’s time for her to fade away.

Rosie did behave like a bully and used “friendship” as an excuse within a hard political debate? How professional?

Joy Behar also did open the can of worms, shame she didn’t stop before she ranted for ten minutes yanking Elizabeth’s chain??? One has to wonder if it was intentional?

I hear Rosie may become a permanent guest on the Jerry Springer Show..

#11 it’s great to hear The Mouth had one fan.

What on earth pray tell was Elizabeth suppose to answer? She should not have to speak for the Mouth! That poor girl has be out shouted by the Mouth for a year. It’s about time she fought back and got two words in.

I think most of these comments are as rude and bullying as the person it is aimed at, first look at yourselves in the mirror..rosie says some interesting stuff, listen to the message not the messenger.

Rosie always gave me the impression that she could say what she wanted…but if someone had an opposing view then God forbid they get to speak their side. Her last show on The View was proof of that. She could not handle it that someone actually stood up against her. She has behaved badly toward our government, Christians, and certain people such as Kelly Ripa where Rosie made an ‘assumption’ of what Kelly was saying. Some of Rosie’s ‘theories’ were also pretty far out there. She probably could have gained a bit of respect had she stated her reasons as to why she believed what she did about our government and 911.
Rosie was an attacker..whether it was just for laughs or whether she was serious. I use to like her but it seems to me that once she ‘came out’ she changed. She seemed mad and angry at everything that went on around her. I will always wonder why.
Also, #17..I heard her message, loud and clear. It only led me to believe she was an anti-government, Christian hating nut.

I love Rosie, but I DID NOT enjoy her on the View. I did not enjoy her and Elizabeth argue about the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER. I love Rosie’s passion and energy, but the HOT topic about the War & the President should have been avoided at all costs or only discuessed on days when Rosie wasn’t at the table!
