Think the island of Aruba and the government is not desperate for revenue? I guess this can 
be added to the many reason to do business in Aruba and that “ideal market for investment” that was floated. According to Amigoe, the Aruban government has requested that a “Court of First Instance” be attached to the proceeds of the recent Marriott sale. We will do as we please, even if we do not have the documents. Why does this story sound so familiar?
The buildings were sold for 237 million dollars last week to a Caribbean investor in real estate. The petition is dated November 24th, but has been submitted before that date, because it mentions the urgent reason for the sale of the buildings.
Of course there are many details in such deal and disputed opinions, comments and facts. However, the following comment from Aruban Prime Minister Nelson Oduber rings so loud and so common as what we have all seen from Aruban officials during the past 18 months. Trust me, I am telling the truth. Conveniently they do not have the necessary documents, they vanished. Yet, people are 
supposed to take them at their word of the ones they do have that benefit their position.
These proceeds are for the Country of Aruba, after the Netherlands is paid in connection with the loan furnished at that time.” Oduber admits that the government does no longer have all the documentation concerning the loan. But from some other documents that he has, he concludes that only Aruba is entitle to the proceeds.
It always seems to be the same MO, follow the money. Aruba, being in a situation of lowered tax revenues from a declining tourism … this was an easy money grab.
In the petition is stated that there is a dispute between the Aruban and Dutch government about the division of the proceeds. The shares of the owners of the Marriott hotel, Plant NV are in hands of the Dutch Participation company for the Neth.Antilles (NPMNA) that is being managed by the Dutch Investment Bank. Aruba says that the NPMNA has only received the shares temporarily, as guaranty for a Dutch loan of 55 million dollars.
At that time, the government was in urgent need of money due to unfinished hotel constructions and hotel guarantees that were concluded in the eighties and had asked the Netherlands for financial support in accordance with the Charter for the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The then minister for Aruban and Antillean Affairs Ernst Hirsch Ballin (CDA) loaned Aruba 55 million dollars via NPMNA under the condition that the shares are placed with NPMNA. This is the reason for the dispute now.

ORANJESTAD – From documents that Amigoe has received it appears that Aruba has requested the Court of First Instance to attach the proceeds from sale of the buildings in which the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is established. This is an amount of 420 million florins.

Prime Minister Nelson Oduber (MEP) has sent a letter to the Dutch minister of Kingdom Relations Atzo Nicolaà ¯ (VVD) on October 27th.
In that letter he states that NPMNA does not have any right on the proceeds of the sale of the Marriott buildings. “These proceeds are for the Country of Aruba, after the Netherlands is paid in connection with the loan furnished at that time.” Oduber admits that the government does no longer have all the documentation concerning the loan. But from some other documents that he has, he concludes that only Aruba is entitle to the proceeds. His letter mentions that the shares of Plant Hotel NV were first placed with Oranjestad Property Management (OPM).
After the loan, the shares of OPM would be divided between NPMNA and AIB. However, upon request of the Netherlands, the shares for AIB were held over permanently. That’s the reason why NPMNA remained on paper the only shareholder of OPM. The shares of Plant NV were transferred to NPMNA in 1993 and 2000. NPMNA became the shareholder of the Marriott buildings.
Temporarily though, says Oduber, because the minute Aruba pays off the loan and interest, the shares have to go back to the Country of Aruba. “NPMNA can be considered the trustee of the Country of Aruba. Aruba is economically the owner of these shares”, says Oduber. Besides, Aruba has already paid of a great part of the 55-million dollars loan.

Boy Odubear, you guys loose everything, even your tourists ” Um She just kinda vanished” . I think you may want to invest in a good set of paralegals, they are notorius for keeping records maybe even evidence and do excellent legal research.

Everytime I see that picture of Beth and the idiot oduber it makes me sick. I feel like he is in on this also, maybe the one who is dirtyhand…..when I first saw him speaking to Beth, I got the same feeling. I think he was one of the ELDERS that took Natalee.may he rot in hell along with the rest of the perps if he is involved.
For the last several months, I have written on this site concerning what was too happen with regard to the economy, governmental revenues and the “pork” supported government of Aruba. Actions and reports continue to support my analysis. In reality, there is little hope left for Aruba.

Since Oduber said they get 100′s of calls a day true or not, they can’t investigate them all, I wonder who decides which ones are worth investigating and what the criteria is to decide? I think we probably already know the answer to that, after this past year.
That picture of Oduber with the phoney hug for Beth makes me sick everytime I see it. The only time his eyes light up is when he sees cash.

On that Monday in question, I woke up around 13.30 hours.
When I got out of my room, I saw that Satish had also come out of his room. Our mother came up to us and was angry and talked to us about the fact that we went out and that Satish now hadn’t gone to school. I walked through the living room and had turned on the television. My brother joined me there and we watched the television. At some point I got up and went to my mother and asked her if the school of Satish had indeed called about him. After this I went back to my room and switched on the computer.
Why would Deepak worry that school called?

From the story that we had told him, he believed us. To me and my parents he was always polite. When the case of the girl got more serious towards the end of the week, he had asked me whether or not my father had a lawyer. I said to him that he didn’t. This was Thursday two weeks ago. He had asked me if I knew a good attorney. I told him that I did not have a lot of experience with attorneys. He said to me that we shouldn’t worry about it and that he would find a lawyer for me and my brother. Joran’s father told me that same afternoon that he had hired Antoni Carlo to represent Joran.
On Friday two weeks ago he had arainged a lawyer for us.
Why would Pauless arrange a lawyer for them?
Good catch Carpe….Perhaps Natalee was murdered on a mattress in Joran’s apartment. Paulus then traded out the mattresses from his home with Joran’s blood soaked mattress. This would explain why the mattresses were on the floor…they probably didn’t fit on Joran’s bed as they were the wrong size!
Paulus then had the Kalpoemobile discard of the blood soaked mattress and then ordered a new mattress – having it delivered several weeks after the murder.
This would still explain why they didn’t search Paulus property….they would have found a mattress missing…..the one that was in J’s apartment….and they would have found that a mattress fitting Joran’s bed would have been nowhere on the family compound. I do also think that there was significant DNA evidence within the VDS home. Something caused the Government Actors to protect the home from search.

Joran turned to me and said that the police was at his house and that it had been his dad on the phone just now. Joran said that it was about a girl that we went out with last night. Joran looked at me and said: “Shit, that is the same girl we went out with last night”. Then he said at the same time: “what is up with this/wrong with this f***ing bitch”.
Why would Joran say that about Natalee, why such vile?
